Cooperation Agreement Signed with the Development and Education Centre for the Metal Industry – Metalska Jezgra Čakovec

On Monday, 13 July 2026, the Faculty of Engineering of the Catholic University of Croatia and the Development and Education Centre for the Metal Industry – Metalska Jezgra Čakovec signed a Cooperation Agreement. The Agreement was signed by Prof. Dr. Zlatan Car, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering of the Catholic University of Croatia, and Dr. Mario Šercer, Director of the Development and Education Centre for the Metal Industry – Metalska Jezgra Čakovec. The Agreement establishes a framework for joint activity in areas of mutual interest, in particular:

cooperation on scientific research and development projects, the transfer of knowledge and technology and cooperation with industry, the provision of professional internships and student projects, the joint organisation of professional and scientific conferences, workshops, and training, the exchange of experts and the use of research and laboratory infrastructure.

By signing this Agreement, the Faculty of Engineering continues to strengthen partnerships with leading development and technology institutions in the Republic of Croatia and to connect educational and research work with the needs of industry.
